Server CFG
Generate a configuration file for your quake server.
 
Normal options
Hostname    The name of the server.
Coop    Cooperation mode on or off.
Deathmatch    The deathmatch type, normally from 1-2.
Teamplay    Teamplay mode, normally 0 (off) or 1 (on).
Fraglimit    The amount of frags needed to continue to the next map.
Timelimit    The amount of time played on a map.
Samelevel    Remain in current level at level changes, normally 0 (off) or 1 (on).
Noexit    Level exiting on or off, kills players who try to exit the map.
Pausable    Allows clients to pause the game.
Skill    Skill level, used for enemy a.i., normally 0-3.
Map    The map which is going to be played.
 
Advanced options
Be careful changing these.
temp1    This variable is used by quake mods for extra configuration.
edgefriction    Determines how easy it is to fall of edges, default 2 (dedicated servers only).
host_framerate    Modifies the frame rate quake tries to maintain, default 0.
host_speeds    The host speeds, default 0.
net_messagetimout    Amount of time before client times out from inactivity, default 300.
sv_accelerate    Acceleration rate for players, default 10.
sv_aim    How much quake compensates with automatic aiming, default 0.93.
sv_friction    How much the ground slows the players down, default 4.
sv_gravity    How much gravity is in the game, default 800, values from 25 to 1600.
sv_idealpitchscale   How much a player tilts when on a slope or steps, default 0.8.
sv_maxspeed    The maximum speed of the players in quake, default 320.
sv_maxvelocity    The maximum speed any object in quake may travel at, default 2000.
sv_nostep    Disables the automatic use of stairs for players, default 0.
sv_stopspeed    Determines how quickly things stop moving, default 100.
sys_ticrate    The amount of packet updates sent by a server, default 0.05.
